Learn about the 4Cs
Cartier diamonds are subject to a highly rigorous selection process.
Firstly, Cartier only considers diamonds that have been certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), an independent, international certification organisation favoured by Cartier for its impartial judgement in diamond selection. Then, a combination of subtle characteristics known as the 4Cs (carat, colour, clarity and cut), enables these diamonds with the right characteristics – chosen from amongst the rarest of stones – to be put forward for the Cartier selection process.
